In 1920 in Gata de Gorgos, a town in the province of Alicante, Zahati was born. Today, Sandra, from the fifth generation, has joined the company. After finishing her studies in architecture, she decided to follow in the family tradition and design hats, bags, decorative objects, and jewelry, without setting limits to creativity. With her, Zahati's production has been renewed. Her hats, with a great expressive power, are hand-stitched from natural fibers, with or without color. It is a completely handmade production, in their workshops in Gata de Gorgos, exactly as it was in the beginning.

Zahati respects responsible production and offers optimal working conditions to its workers. Additionally, they offer the possibility of repairing pieces if necessary, to mitigate the culture of "excess," guided by a strong principle that a handmade product is meant to last forever.
