 Baby-style friulana that can be adjusted to fit the foot with a buckle. It is a casual-looking shoe that takes us back to childhood. The 100% cotton velvet is perfect for every occasion and season thanks to its breathability.

Care of the friulanas:

The velvet of this shoe is 100% cotton and, as is typical of products made from this material, may show marks caused by pressure. These marks do not affect its quality and are easily removed with light circular rubbing, steam or normal wear. As this shoe is handmade, it is exclusively stitched and glue-free, so it can be machine washed on a delicate cycle.

Handcrafted Friulanas from Venice

These are called "friulanas" and they are the shoes that gondoliers have always worn. They are distinguished by their refined fabrics and comfort. Our friulanas are made in a Venetian artisan workshop that has been working with top quality materials for over thirty years. This shoe accommodates different materials, but we have chosen exclusively for 100% cotton velvet. The sole is made from recycled bicycle tires while the insole, made from recycled cotton agglomerate, protects from normal microtrauma while walking. The velvet upper is joined to the sole with an exclusively hand-sewn stitch-by-stitch seam.
